happy Sunday (or whatever day it might be for you - LOL)!

i just wanted to pop in here super quick as i've had lots of emails asking if we will be releasing Valentine's kit or not? :)  the answer - YES!  and i am so excited about this collection...might be my fave yet!  as always...i've created a kit that does not scream Valentine's day...as i feel that if someone is going to shell out the money for a kit...it's nice if it is versatile enough to use over and over!  but...you will see the LOVE in it - LOL...and hopefully get to use it year-round as well!  of course - there will also be all of the products that will make your Valentine's treat-giving and parties much easier...and super pretty, too!  so...be on the lookout for those later this week!

there ya go!  i am truly excited about this release...it is full of goodies...and i hope you all like it!  sorry no previews...LOL!  oh - and fontologie has TWO new fonts that are AWESOME...i know you will love them!

we had a wonderful time this holiday season with family and friends...but why does it seem like this time of year gets BUSIER and BUSIER each year?  i guess that adds to the fun though, right?  LOL!  anyway - i hope you all had a FABULOUS holiday with family and friends!  and hey - it's still not over...we still have the NEW YEAR's celebrations to go...so ENJOY and have a wonderful, safe time!

hi all :)  i haven't shared pics in a while...so thought i'd add a few!  that was the halloween costume...nascar head-to-toe - LOL!  he's such a little man!  love it (he chose it himself)!  and the others are just from a recent trip to the park!  what a cutie!  and - he had a haircut yesterday and OH MY...it is just the cutest!  seriously - love it :)  we normally go with the 'little boy cut' similar to daddy's hair!  but - i grew it out a little so he could have a BOWL cut - he he!  LOVING it and will try to add some pics of that soon!

    

i also just HAD to post about this cool new kit and concept :)  sweet kimberly at thedigichick emailed me about this...and unfortunately - i got the email too late to participate (my fault - lol)...but i still wanted to show you guys and point you over to the CALL TO ACT kit...which is free...sorta :) Just so i don't get anything wrong...LOL...i'm going to paste the official 'blurb' here for you guys:

Call To Act is a kit created by your favorite designers from all over the community with a common desire to make a change. This kit is being given as a free gift to all scrapbookers that can show that they are taking action to help in their communities. This could be donating canned goods for needful families for Thanksgiving, clothes for those affected by the fires if you live in California, or volunteering your time at evacuation shelters, even being apart of a donation effort put together by your church or child's school for the holidays.  Sometimes contributing monetarily isn’t always feasible. This kit is to encourage you to step up and step out into your community. As they say, give and you shall receive.

·          Upload your receipt, or photo (blur out sensitive information of course) packing boxes, or participating in school donation events or such.

·          Describe what you did to contribute in the credits area

·          TDC Administrators will PM participants with a code to check out with the kit for free.

·          Layouts must be uploaded to The Digichick gallery linked HERE to be eligible.

pretty cool, huh? :)  so - do something to help...and then go get that gorgeous kit!

hope you like it!  and we just sent out the newsletter last nite/early AM...so the site is likely to be slow over the next couple of days...and might even be down off and on (as we reset the servers, etc.)!  but - i wanted to be sure and share!

also...i was just reading through some of the comments and wanted to say a HUGE thank you for all of the kindness about the free desktops and the new free kit!  it makes me SOOOOOOO happy to know that you guys are enjoying them - SO THANKS!

and...there was a question or two about printing the Shabby Shoppe Calendars :)  first - i want to link to a pretty comprehensive thread on the subject at DST...click HERE for it!  i think that most answers can be found there...but for the most part - if you print with lustre and/or glossy paper...you will need to use a fine-tip sharpie for writing on your calendars (i really like this :))!  but...you can also print on heavyweight matter or press paper and it will look fabulous...PLUS - you will be able to write on the calendars with a pen, etc.!  i hope this helps...but definitely check out the thread, too - as there are alot of great ideas!

what else...OH YEAH...we will be releasing our 2007/2008 holiday card collection in the next couple of days!  we have a HUGE collection - LOL...we just kept adding...and there will be a personal use version as well as commercial use version!  plan to see those sometime this weekend!

other than that...i just finished up my last Bo Bunny deadlines and that is a GREAT feeling!  so now...i can focus on digi...and the holidays!  WOW....i cannot believe that i have already started shopping for Christmas - LOL!  but i am ALL ABOUT trying to get ahead of things this year...wish me luck - LOL!

happy Sunday :)  this will be a quick one...but wanted to give a little info about our 2008 calendars and SMELL MY FEET collection!  so many of you are wanting to know when to expect the calendars (THANK YOU!)...so thought i'd post here!  they are COMPLETE and turned out sooooooo cute and fun (thanks nicole)!  so now...i am trying to create and photograph samples of the calendars for the newsletter...create previews...slide galleries of all the pages...the newsletter...and more - LOL!  it's not a fast process for sure :)  but - it's what we are working on right now...so expect to see them released at the shoppe this week (prolly midweek)!  thanks for taking the peek - he he!

well...i've had a few emails asking if i'm releasing a halloween kit...so i thought i better post a little peek - he he!  it's been in the works for a month or two now - LOL...and is ALMOST complete!  so...you should see it in the next few weeks!  it's called SMELL MY FEET - he he!  it's full of fun and whimsy...i do hope you like it!  and best of all...it has enough 'generic' stuff in it to use it for non-halloween layouts, too!  i have this 'thing' about adding as much value to a kit for you as i can - LOL!

ohhhhhh - HI - lol!  sorry...i went straight into the halloween kit!  LOL!  work has been busy...and i'm tired :)  but - it's fun...and there is an end in sight!  well...NOT to the work...LOL...but at least to how MUCH there is right now!  i am trying to scale back some of my 'jobs' and responsibilites...and that will help!  i just truly love digital scrapbooking/designing and am trying to focus on that!

so...we are preparing to release our 2008 calendars (they are looking sooooo cute) and nicole is working super hard on those!  can't wait to get to work with them myself!  that means that our next release will be the halloween kit and all of the new calendars (will be released sometime before october 15th)!

anyway - just really wanted to give a little update on all of that stuff!  i so need to get better about posting updates and fun stuff like that over here on the blog...and i will TRY TRY TRY :)  i just get so wrapped up in trying to finish this stuff - that i forget to talk about it - LOL!

alright - i know this one was 'all business'...but will post some pics/fun stuff with the next post!

OH OH OH - there will be an october FREE desktop coming soon - LOL!  i have not forgotten :)  so check back soon!

hi all :)  just a QUICKIE post that i should have made a week or two ago - LOL!  better late than never!  but i had to mention that i had the great pleasure of working on a charity collaboration kit with some very talented designers recently!  this kit...JOURNEY OF THE HEART is available right now at OSCRAPS!  it is huge with 61 Papers...over 100 elements (including stickers, tags, word art, frames, ribbons, beads, charms and more!)...5 alphas!  HUGE - lol!  AND best of all...this incredible collaboration is benefitting two amazing charities - Love Without Boundaries and Half the Sky who provide care and support to the children in China's orphanages.

moving on...it has been a busy but FUN month!  well - mostly fun - LOL!  i have been dealing with some AWFUL computer troubles...from a yucky virus...to email server issues and more!  i lost a bunch of emails...and the rest - i am trying to catch up on as i have not been able to use my computer very much...b/c of the virus - LOL!  it's a lose-lose here lately!  anyway - if you are waiting on an email from me...i will be caught up soon!  i am down to only like 40 or 50...so i am now able to breathe again :)  but...some of those are about 2 weeks or so 'old'...and i HATE that...feel so bad!  soon...

what else!  oh - my in-laws had given me a gift card to macy's...and i realized it was just about to expire (who has time to shop?  rofl)...so i picked up some fun stuff!  i TOTALLY LOVE these martha stewart MIXING bowls and PREP bowls...so had to grab a couple of sets!  aren't those colors just YUMMY?!  and i'm not a huge martha fan!  well...i generally LIKE all of her 'stuff' - i just never get to watch the shows or even check out the site!  but everything i see - pretty cool - LOL!  here's a pic for ya...
