hi all :o)  i hope you are all having a great weekend...and that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!  for us...the holiday lasts through the weekend...so we just always say 'thanksgiving weekend' LOL!  there has been LOTS of food and good times!  but...no turkey...no dressing...are we the only ones?  we just do not care for turkey or ham or dressing or any of the traditional foods - LOL! so - we figure why cook them if we aren't going to eat them?!  so - we had some yummy steaks, grilled corn, lots of sweet stuff, etc.!  i guess you could say that being nontraditional is our 'tradition' lol!  i love seeing the photos of thanksgiving tables full of the traditional fare...but i have never liked that type of food - for as long as i can remember (sorry mom :o))!  anyway - i did make pecan pie (even the crust was homemade...so proud of myself! he he)...cupcakes, homemade chocolate chip cookies and a few other side dishes!  my husband did all of the meats and stuff!  so much fun and delicious!  you have to share with me if you have your own cool traditions and foods!

i haven't had much time to 'work' here lately...well...i spend alot of time answering emails and doing 'admin' type stuff - but not much designing/creating going on :o(  nicole is working on a few new things for the shoppe...just in time for the holidays!  and...this next week - when i have more time to work...i have some fun ideas - so wish me luck!
